The GR8 Journey

The door to my office was closed for over a month. I'm asking myself whether I'm thriving on dry or just thirsty, and what I found when I finally walked back in.

I was asked to volunteer, and I said no. Then I called to check in. A small moment where I caught myself actually being different.

Some of my plants were dying. That's when it clicked: the thing I said I'd get back to was me.

Nobody was holding me to a deadline, and I still didn't start. Why was I waiting on a reason to be great?

Someone told me I gotta stop volunteering for stuff. I laughed it off, then I started counting how many times I'd asked "are you okay?" and how many times anyone had asked me.
